These Subscription Terms govern the paid subscription to Get My CV, operated by [COMPANY NAME]. Designing and editing a CV is free; an active subscription is required to download your CV as a PDF. Read these together with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
1. Trial period
New subscribers are offered a seven-day trial. The trial starts when you pay the one-time activation fee of $1.95 shown at checkout, which is charged immediately. During the trial you have full access, including unlimited PDF downloads and every template. One trial is available per account.
Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the trial converts automatically to a monthly subscription at $24.95 per month, and that amount is charged to your payment method. The exact date and amount of the first automatic charge are shown on the payment screen before you pay, and again in the welcome email we send when your payment succeeds. We also email you a reminder three days before the trial ends.
You may cancel at any time before the trial ends, in two clicks from your account page or by emailing support@get-my-cv.com. If you cancel during the trial you keep access until the trial ends and the monthly price is not charged.
2. Renewal
After the trial converts, the subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle at the price and in the currency shown at checkout, until you cancel. The exact amount, currency and first charge date are stated at checkout before you pay.
3. Payment
Your payment method is charged when you confirm, and again at each renewal. Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider; by subscribing you authorise us and that provider to charge the amounts described here. If a charge fails, the provider may retry during a short grace period, and paid features may be suspended until payment is collected.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time. Two ways:
- from your account page — select "Cancel membership"; it takes two clicks;
- by emailing support@get-my-cv.com from the address on your account.
You keep access through the end of the current billing cycle (or the end of the trial), and nothing renews after that. PDF downloads stop when access ends; your account and your saved CVs remain. There is no refund for a partial period except as required by law or under our Refund Policy.
5. Fee changes
We may change our fees. We will give at least 30 days' notice, in the Service and by email, and the new fee applies from the first billing cycle after the notice period. If you do not agree, cancel before it takes effect.
6. Refunds
Payments are generally non-refundable except as required by law or as set out in our Refund Policy. If you purchased through a third-party platform, that platform's refund rules apply instead.
7. Service availability
We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, and may carry out maintenance and updates that interrupt it temporarily. Our liability for interruptions is limited as set out in the Terms & Conditions.
8. Consumers in the EU, EEA or UK
If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK you have 14 days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw from it without giving a reason. Eligible refunds are returned within 14 days to your original payment method. Statutory exceptions apply, in particular where you asked us to start the Service during the withdrawal period and acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal for digital content already supplied.
